Description
The Dimple Pinch is one of Scotland’s most recognisable blends — known the world over by its three-sided “dimpled” bottle — and at 15 years old it is built for exactly what its fans go looking for: drinking it neat. A decade and a half of maturation smooths away any grain bite, leaving a soft, honeyed Scotch that needs nothing added to show its best.
Poured neat, it opens with a gentle nose of honey, caramel and vanilla, then turns malty and mellow across the palate — toffee, baked apple and warm oak, with just a wisp of soft peat smoke trailing the finish. It is a blend of more than thirty malt and grain whiskies bottled at 43% ABV, married long enough that every part sits in easy balance.
Enjoy it neat, or add a single drop of water to coax out the caramel and cereal notes. Approachable enough for a newcomer yet polished enough for a seasoned dram, it is a dependable 15-year pour to unwind with at the end of the day.
