Winemaker Description
Produced from equal parts Pinot Noir and Grolleau, the fruit for this wine comes from Chidaine’s estate-grown, biodynamically farmed vineyards located just north of the Cher River between the villages of Montrichard and Chissay-en-Touraine.
The nose of gooseberries with floral notes is followed by a medium-full wine with a chalky texture. Excellent acidity and beautiful tension bring up the solid mineral core. Very refreshing but surprisingly complex — a perennial favorite where supply never meets demand.

A leader in the Loire Valley for organic and biodynamic wine production. This terrific rosé — 50% Pinot Noir, 50% Grolleau — is made from organically farmed estate fruit. Floral nose with hints of currants, excellent acidity, and a beautiful mineral core.
