Description
Ferrari-Carano has long defined the benchmark for Sonoma County winemaking — precise, expressive, and unmistakably Californian. This curated duo pairs their signature Chardonnay with the estate’s structured Cabernet Sauvignon, offering a complete expression of the appellation across two varietals.
The 2024 Chardonnay delivers bright stone fruit, toasted oak, and a creamy mid-palate with refreshing acidity. The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon opens with dark cherry, cassis, and cedar, finishing with polished tannins and depth. Together, they make an ideal gift or a well-rounded addition to any cellar.
Two bottles. One estate. Sonoma at its finest.
The 2024 Cabrernet Sauvignon is one of Sonoma County’s most celebrated family-owned wineries, founded in 1981 by Don and Rhonda Carano on the benchlands of Dry Creek Valley. Over four decades, they have built a reputation for estate-driven wines of exceptional quality and consistency — wines that express the warmth, generosity, and complexity of Sonoma County at its best. The Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is their benchmark red: a bold, structured wine sourced from select Sonoma County vineyards and crafted by Senior Red Winemaker Rebecka Deike. The 2022 is a distinctive blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Syrah — an unconventional but inspired combination that adds plush texture and savory depth to the classic Cabernet framework. James Suckling awarded it 92 points; Wine Enthusiast 91 points.
Two critics, two 90+ scores — Ferrari-Carano 2022 is Sonoma County Cabernet at its most generous.
