Tasting Notes For Estee Hill Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
Our 2017 wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and has been aged for 22 months in new French oak barrels. The wine is dark, inky and woven with threads of spicy oak and varied berry compote. A lush and velvety mid-palate leads to an elongated finish. This wine showcases Dean Sylvester’s ability to craft a balanced wine that has complex structured tannins that will age well. It will certainly benefit from a little time in the bottle, but if allowed to decant for a while prior to drinking, will allow the wine to open up. Enjoy!
