“Locos por el Vino” is a new project from Bodegas Alto Moncayo, aiming to expand their range with high-quality, modern and casual wines produced from the winery’s youngest vineyards, guaranteeing the continuity of the Alto Moncayo project for future generations to come. A local term used in the village of Borja, “Zismero” refers to one who is provocative, jovial, and mirthful, with a complexity and uniqueness that makes its audience think deeply from the pointed jocularity.
A pleasant freshness with a successful combination of red fruits such as cherries and currants; the short aging in wood rounds off the palate, providing notes of laurel and toast in perfect balance with its acidity.
