Big Nose Kate is a first-of-its-kind blend of straight American Rye Whiskey and American Single Malt crafted by award-winning Master Blender, Melissa (Mel) Heim. This whiskey is carefully and proudly sourced from distilleries in CO, TX, VA and IN then batch blended in Santa Fe, NM, the former home of the whiskey’s namesake, Big Nose Kate. The old west was an extraordinary and rare ‘blend’ of myriad cultures and influences and the whiskey is no exception. The specs: Aged 6 years, mash bill 53% rye/47% malted barley, secondary aging in STR Cuvee Casks, non-chill filtered. Notes of baking spice, stone fruit, and cereal grain.
