Description
This bold red wine appears garnet with a mahogany hue. Vanilla and toasted oak introduce ripe aromas of blackberries and prune plums, with a distant note of cigar box. Medium to full in body, juicy black plum flavours abound on the palate with a touch of anise earth and squid ink. A long, lingering finish of sweet black plums, cherries and vanilla make this a great pairing with full-flavoured foods such as roasted nuts, strong cheeses or lamb stew.
