Description
Distilled in the final year of production at the Hanyu distillery, this Japanese single malt was matured 15 years in various casks including Cognac, Puncheon, Bourbon Barrel, Hogshead and Port Pipe. The nose has an intriguing mix of sweet apples and pears with an earthiness that flows along with vanilla oak, maple syrup and orange citrus. The palate is complex with dark chocolate, blood orange and morello cherries mixing with aniseed and oily menthol, ending with light oak.1 Bottle limit.
