Ichiro Akuto is a true whisky blending magician. He enjoys surprising the taster and usually surprises himself with his magic. In any case, one thing is sure, his beer-barrel-aged Chichibu will join the ranks of the many other Chichibus already in the whisky hall of fame. This expression is a hugely developed malt with an aromatic and gustatory pallet with a kaleidescope of flavours and exotic character. Rich and full bodied with notes of licorice, pencil lead, oranges, heather honey and geraniums. A long and lasting, exotic finish.
