Description
Rich amber in colour, this ancient single malt presents a deliciously well-balanced nose: sweet, spicy, and smoky. Crisp red apples and juicy ripe pear aromas blend with sweet sherry influences accentuated by a peaty edge. Sweet sherry highlights complement the ginger spiciness leading to a drying smoky finish with a touch of oak. Distilled in 1949 and bottled in 2001, only 432 bottles produced. Cask 7.
