Description
Bomberger’s Declaration Distillery Bourbon honours the legacy of the former distillery known as Bomberger’s in the 1800’s and later as Michter’s in the 20th century. This 2024 release of Bomberger’s Declaration continues the flavourful tradition of using bourbon aged in chinquapin (Quercus muehlenbergii) oak. The chinquapin oak was naturally air-dried and seasoned for three years before being toasted and charred to Bomberger’s exacting specifications. This year’s release also includes bourbon with malted rye in the recipe. The marrying of these bourbons results in a bold and vibrant whiskey with many layers of rich complexity.
