Chappellet Winery has farmed Pritchard Hill on the eastern slopes of Napa Valley since 1967, producing some of California’s most celebrated mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignon. The Mountain Cuvée is their benchmark Bordeaux-style blend — a wine that beautifully expresses the power and elegance of Napa’s mountain terroir. The 2023 leaps out of the glass with concentrated notes of red currant, boysenberry, cassis, roasted coffee, and dark chocolate, along with savory undertones and sweet oak. Rich and mouthcoating on the palate with seamless texture, supple tannins, and luxurious layers of dark berry fruit, barrel spice, and fresh herbs.
