Description
Matured for at least 15 years in European oak oloroso sherry casks and American oak ex-bourbon barrels, and finished in European oak oloroso sherry seasoned casks. Aromas of moist Corinth raisins and sweet dates are complemented by sweet spices, cinnamon, cocoa beans, a hint of dark chocolate, and subtle smoke. The palate offers flavours of cedarwood, treacle toffee, boiled sweet confectionery, clove spice, and liquorice root. A curiously rich and wooded finish leads to contented sweet spice.
