Description
This extraordinary Straight Bourbon takes its name from the elusive Guadalupe Bass, a species found only in the rivers of the northern and eastern Edwards Plateau of Texas. Introducing Guadalupe Bass Straight Bourbon, an exceptionally limited blend of three seven-year-old, cask-strength collector’s barrels. Part of the highly coveted Milam & Greene Wildlife Collection, known for exploring how climate shapes whiskey’s character, each release in this series has achieved cult status, selling out within minutes.
These barrels rested during extremely hot summers with long periods of extreme drought. Conversely, they were exposed to record breaking cold snaps, and most recently, higher than normal humidity. The periods of extreme heat and drought drove the whiskey deep into the wood resulting in more evaporation and ultimately concentrating flavors for a big, bold whiskey.
