Winemaker Description
Blaufränkisch, also known as Lemberger, is a beautiful varietal full of fruit and spice!
There’s a reason this vineyards been winning awards. On the nose I get cassis with some rubber and a definite minerality. Some herbal notes are hiding in the background. The palate brings forth licorice and black raspberry with those currants. There’s a slight jammy quality with great acid and some beautifully lingering tannins. It’s deliciously drinkable for a cold winter night but light enough in body to sip all year round. Pair with barbecue ribs or a wiener schnitzel. Winemaker Description.
